Dark and atmospheric, the Black Tarot showcases the work of Luis Royo, the erotic, fantasy artist probably best known for his illustrations of Julie Sprain for the movie Heavy Metal. Mr. Royo became popular in the United States in the 1980s and 1990s as his illustrations became more widely distributed in magazines and through a series of books. He continues to produce some of the most popular tarot cards in the world, including the Labyrinth Tarot and the recently published I Ching Dead Moon. The Black Tarot, however, remains a cult classic and includes vibrant illustrations of scantily clad vixens, dragons, and other fantasy themes. The boxed deck includes 78 full color cards and an instruction booklet in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Published by Fournier. Made in Spain.
